Police say a man who caused a deadly two-car crash in Port Jefferson Station was drunk and tried to run from the scene.
Police say Danny Bonilla Zavala, 19, of Selden, was driving drunk last night when he hit another car on Route 112.
The victim was identified as Bob Hidalgo, of Coram. Hidalgo's wife was hurt in the crash, but survived.
Police say Zavala suffered minor injuries and ran from the crash, but was quickly caught by a police officer.
