Police say more than 150 dangerous fugitives are off the streets of Nassau County as a result of a five-day round-up. The Nassau DA joined teams of local, state and federal law enforcement officials Tuesday to announce the arrest of 154 fugitives in Nassau and beyond. "Operation: Rolling Thunder" netted men and women wanted for assault, arson, rape and other sex crimes.
According to police, Operation: Rolling Thunder has netted more than 773 wanted fugitives from across New York State since November.
