Dozens of residents and officials today marched at a peace rally in Brentwood.

The protesters rallied against violence in the wake of three recent Central Islip homicides.

"I think it has to stop," said Davonte Maye, whose older brother Derrick was shot and killed last week in Central Islip. "How many more is it going to be before someone actually does something about it?"

Officials believe the deadly shootings were gang-related.
