DOT to shutdown part of Brooklyn-Queens Expressway this weekend for final phase of repairs
While the closures may serve as an inconvenience to commuters, the Department of Transportation commissioner says the closures are necessary for repairs.

The Queens-bound side of the BQE will be fully closed from Atlantic Avenue to Sands Street from Saturday 2 a.m. - Monday 4 a.m.
