Documents: Complaints against Centerport mom dismissed before wrong-way crash that killed son

Suffolk Child Protective Services dismissed complaints against a Centerport mom later accused of driving high the wrong way on the Southern State and killing her 9-year-old son.
Suffolk CPS investigated at least seven complaints against Kerri Bedrick since 2018, according to state documents.
The complaints included Bedrick’s alleged drug use, neglect and abuse to her son, Eli Henrys.
The report says case workers found the complaints to be unsubstantiated and that they were repeatedly closed.
