District: Seneca Middle School substitute teacher terminated for 'inappropriate activity' used in 3 separate classes

A substitute teacher has been fired after parents told News 12 their children were forced to play a game with crude language at Seneca Middle School.
Parents speculate the point of the activity was to make students feel comfortable discussing intimate body parts in science class.
In a Facebook post, parents say that students expressed that they felt uncomfortable and were instructed to take part in the activity anyway.
In a statement to News 12, Sachem Central School District Superintendent Dr. Christopher J. Pellettieri said in part, "An inappropriate activity was utilized in three separate classes yesterday. This individual will not return to the classroom and will no longer be an employee of the district."
