Freshman Democrat Pat Ryan, an Iraqi war veteran, is defending his seat against NYPD veteran Alison Esposito in the 18th Congressional District, comprising of Orange, most of Dutchess and Ulster counties.

Ryan's campaign has focused on housing, women's health and protecting democracy.
