A deer on the East End was rescued by firefighters this weekend. 
Officials say the deer was rescued from a 10-foot deep pit in East Hampton. 
Officials from a nearby rescue center gave the deer a tranquilizer and then the East Hampton Fire Department lifted her to safety.
