A Massapequa man convicted of killing a woman in her sleep is facing life in prison.
A Suffolk jury found David Newbeck guilty of shooting Mandy Jo Jenkins five times in her North Amityville apartment.
Prosecutors say he killed her in 2010 because she refused to drop identity theft charges against his girlfriend.
Newbeck faces more than 27 years-to-life in prison when he's sentenced.
