Some funding is on its way for some Long Island hospitals.
The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York has issued $760 million bond to Northwell Health.
The bond will support a wide range of improvements at five hospitals on Long Island.
The money will be used to build a new cardia lab at Long Island Jewish Hospital, a new patient pavilion at South Shore Hospital and renovations of the emergency room at Mather Hospital.
