Dozens of dancers from the "Free Players Dance Troupe" took part in a recital Friday in Dix Hills to celebrate Autism Awareness Month.

Dancers of all abilities have been rehearsing all week for the show.

"It's really an amazing experience to see everyone come together, integrate, dance together, be a team," says chief program officer Nicole Wolf.

The dancers who participated range from those who need constant care to those who hold down jobs and enjoy a range of independence.
