Andrew Barth Feldman, a Woodmere native, is starring in “We Had a World” alongside Joanna Gleason and Jeanine Serralles.

The play is about a dying woman, played by Gleason, who asks her grandson, played by Feldman, to write a play about their family.

News 12 caught up with Andrew Barth Feldman on opening night.

Asked what advice he’d give to those hoping to follow in his footsteps, he replied, “There is really no limit to how hard you can work...There is no limit to how kind you can be, and that’s going to get you farther than you think.”

The play is at Manhattan Theatre Club's New York City Center Stage II. It closes May 11.
