Curran extends deadline for 2nd-half school taxes to July 1, forgives penalties
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran signed an executive order Friday night that will provide “much needed relief” for residents facing financial hardship caused by COVID-19.
According to a statement from Curran, she “extended the deadline to pay 2019-2020 second-half school district taxes to July 1, 2020.”
Curran thanked Gov. Andrew Cuomo who she says she worked with to make the relief possible.
