The Long Island Rail Road has resumed service this morning following a major storm that walloped the area.
The rails shut down completely Monday afternoon as the snow started to quickly pile up.
As of 4 a.m., trains started rolling again.
However, if you are taking the train, know that the railroad will run on a weekend schedule.
Meanwhile, above-ground subway service is set to restart at 5 a.m.
