The Long
Island Rail Road has resumed service this morning following a major storm that
walloped the area.
The rails
shut down completely Monday afternoon as the snow started to quickly pile up.
As of 4
a.m., trains started rolling again.
However,
if you are taking the train, know that the railroad will run on a weekend
schedule.
Meanwhile,
above-ground subway service is set to restart at 5 a.m.
