Event and entertainment venues across New York have the green light to reopen starting next month.
For owners and performers at places, the state's easing of pandemic restrictions on venues is music to their ears.
One of which is Joey Spagna's Amityville Music Hall, which has been closed since the lockdown went into effect last March."It's going to take us some time until we can get back on our feet, but we're looking forward to that day until we can reopen," says Spagna.

Cuomo cited ongoing declines in the state's COVID-19 rates behind his decision.
The decision is an exciting one for people like Jared Beyer and his bandmates, who can't wait to play on stage again. They were regular performers at the Paramount before the pandemic.
"To be able to play any time after this is a blessing to me," says Adam Sklar. "To be able to come back here, hopefully at 33%, is great."
