Local chefs are hosting a fundraiser to support workers who were laid off last month from the Crescent Duck Farm in Aquebogue.

As News 12 reported, the farm had to shut down and euthanize nearly 100,000 birds because of a bird flu outbreak.

However, some eggs were salvaged.

The culinary night is called Flock Together and will be held next Friday at Tellers in Islip.
