A plane with two people onboard made an emergency landing at LaGuardia Airport this morning after its pilot noticed a crack in the windshield.
The aircraft was flying from St. Louis to LaGuardia, and it was operated by Delta Connection carrier GoJet. A Port Authority spokesman says the pilot and co-pilot were ferrying the plane to New York for a later flight.
Delta says the pilot noticed a thin windshield crack mid-flight and declared an emergency landing as a precaution.
The aircraft landed safely. No one was injured.
Delta says the plane will be taken out of service for maintenance.
