A nursing home worker and her husband are accused of conspiring to deal fentanyl across Long Island.
Prosecutors say Jaclyn Misuraca and Levar Jackson sold over half a pound of fentanyl to undercover officers between May 2023 and January 2024.
Officials say the pair would deal the drug in broad daylight in public locations across Nassau and Suffolk counties, including at the nursing home where Misuraca worked.
Misuraca and Jackson were arraigned Wednesday.
Misuraca was released on bail due to medical issues and Jackson was detained.
