Nassau County Republicans are sending a message to business owners and New York City residents in the wake of Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral election win. County Executive Bruce Blakeman says that anyone who wishes to leave the city is welcome in the county.

The announcement comes just days after Mamdani won the race.

Speaking alongside local business and real estate leaders in Mineola, Blakeman said the county is a perfect place for people to move their business.

“We are home to every race, every religion, every ethnic group, people of all abilities and lifestyles and one thing you will find out about in Nassau County, everyone gets along.”
