? SWAT teams, police and Suffolk district attorney officials descended on the Shinnecock reservation and two other locations Thursday in a pre-dawn raid.
Police arrested 14 individuals, including the son of a Shinnecock trustee. Investigators say that individual, 26-year-old Awan Gumbs, sold narcotics out of his father?s business, the Indian Trading Post. Law enforcement officials say guns and narcotics were the focus of the raids.
Arraignment is scheduled for Friday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
