A flea market vendor at the Bellmore train station was arrested Monday for allegedly selling illegal weapons.
Police said they found four teenagers standing on a street corner heavily armed with weapons sold by 30-year-old Greg Lieberman, of Bay Shore. Nassau Police Comm. Officer Karl Schoepp said the teens had Chinese throwing stars, daggers, gravity knives, BB guns and more.
When confronted, police said the teens led officers to Lieberman's place at the flea market, where he's worked for about one year.
"[The weapons] were out on a table and they were for sale and anyone could come by and purchase them," Schoepp said.
Christopher Raiford, a 20-year-old from Hempstead, was also arrested and accused of helping the teenagers make their purchases. Raiford is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Lieberman is charged with 10 counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and counterfeiting.
