A Huntington Station man Sunday was shot in the leg in a shootout at his home between himself and men driving by in a sport utility vehicle, Suffolk police said.
Calvin Felder, 21, was standing outside his house at 62 10th Avenue talking on his phone when a latem odel black Ford Expedition with gold trim drove by eastbound on Craven Street, police said.
Two men got out of the SUV and one fired a gunshot at Felder, police said. Felder ran inside his house, got his shotgun and came back out firing, police said. The other gunman fired back and struck Felder in the leg.
The men got back inside the SUV and sped away on Craven Street.Felder was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was treated for a shattered femur bone, police said.
