The heat worsens for Tuesday. High temperatures in the high 90s and low 100s could feel between 105-110 degrees. The record high is 96 and will likely be surpassed.
Dangerous heat continues through Wednesday. Overnight temperatures will make it difficult to cool down too. Lows only drop to the low 80s but feel worse due to the moisture levels in the air.
Wednesday also has a chance for some showers and thunderstorms. A lot of heat and humidity could add extra fuel to those storms.
A cooldown is coming, but not soon enough. By Thursday we're looking at high temperatures that are still hot in the 80s, but more manageable. We look to stay in 80s for a stretch after that.
OVERNIGHT: Warm, muggy and uncomfortable. Lows in the low 80s.
