Attorney General William Tong announced that Connecticut is among several states planning to sue Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The lawsuit aims to prevent this entity from accessing federal payment systems, which contain sensitive personal information.
The attorneys general involved in the lawsuit released a joint statement saying, "The president does not have the power to give away our private information to anyone he chooses, and he cannot cut federal payments approved by Congress."
