Chaminade High School graduate Joe Suozzi, the son of Congressman Tom Suozzi, had a winning walk off run for the Mets.
The 26-year-old played in AAA last year, and is now playing with the big club in the spring.
Rep. Suozzi was at the spring training game when his son scored.
It is the first time they have seen each other in over a month.
Congressman Suozzi won the special election for the Third District on Feb. 13.
