Parishioners from two congregations on Long Island came together for a special Palm Sunday service.
The pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the minister of Congregational Church in Manhasset thought it would be a good idea to make Palm Sunday as realistic as it was in the past.
The two congregations came together to re-enact Jesus Christ's arrival in Jerusalem.

A donkey was part of the service to commemorate how Christ entered the holy city of Jerusalem riding one.
