Suffolk's proposed ban on plastic bags isn't sitting well with one Suffolk company.
Poly-Pak Industries in Melville makes single-use plastic bags, and more than 50% percent of its business comes from local retailers.
They employ roughly 300 people on the Island.
The company worries a ban would force layoffs or put it out of business.
A hearing on the proposed countywide ban is scheduled for April 22.
