The cleanup continues today in several coastal communities across Long Island following Saturday's nasty nor'easter.
Neighborhoods along both the North and South Shore saw flooding from the storm. The National Weather Service had issued coastal flood warnings and advisories.
In Suffolk County, streets in places like Riverhead, Port Jefferson, and Lindenhurst looked more like rivers than roads.
In Nassau County, roads in Freeport and Island Park were covered in water. In Freeport, there were reports that the water got as high as 5 feet, and the mayor said it was among the worst flooding since Sandy six years ago.
The LIRR had to suspend service on its Long Beach Branch due to flooding on the tracks.
PSEG Long Island reported around 9,000 power outages at the height of the nor'easter.
