Long Island will be seeing showers and possible thunderstorms developing overnight - but Sunday might not be a washout.
News 12 Meteorologist Craig Allen is tracking the wet weather that should clear out by mid-morning, but will make a mark overnight.
SUNDAY: Lingering showers followed by slow clearing. Still mild. Highs in the mid-60s.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and cooler. Lows in the mid-40s.
MONDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. High near 60. Monday night low near 40.
TUESDAY: More sun than clouds but still cool. Highs near or just under 60. Tuesday night lows 35-40 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs again near 60.
THURSDAY: Clouds and a shower or two, then some breaks. Highs will be near 60.
FRIDAY: Partly Sunny. Temps still a bit below average. Highs again just near 60.
