Glen Cove residents may see a 35 percent water rate hike.
Glen Cove’s mayor made the proposal at a city council work session this week.
Officials explain there has not been an increase in nearly 15 years.
The money would pay for water infrastructure projects.
If approved, the hike would cost residents an extra $6.72 a month.
