A car wash fundraiser was held in Commack Sunday to collect money for the victims of the fatal Hawaii Nail & Spa crash.
The Texas Roadhouse and Jibaritos With Troops in Deer Park teamed up to hand wash as many cars as possible as part of the fundraising efforts.
An off-duty NYPD officer was killed in last month's crash along with three others who worked in the Deer Park nail salon.
Organizers said all proceeds will go to help support their families.
"We wanted to do something to continue raising [money] because I know the police officer has already been laid to rest but there are still others... it's a financial burden when something like that happens," said Amee Hernandez of Jibaritos With Troops.
Organizers said their goal was to raise at least $2,500 for the victims' families.
