Five teens are facing charges after a fireworks incident at a Port Washington high school.Police say two teens set off fireworks at Schreiber High School Friday, forcing an evacuation. As students and faculty left the school, police say, three other teens set off additional fireworks outside. One student at the school said the fireworks sounded like gunshots.Daniel Fuentes, 17, and another student are being charged with fourth-degree arson for allegedly setting off the fireworks inside the school. Seventeen-year-old students Travis Baugher, Michael Horvilleur and Nicolas Divittorio were charged with unlawfully dealing with fireworks and criminal nuisance.Some students and parents say it may have been just a prank, but it was potentially dangerous. Police say a floor at the school was damaged, but no one was injured.Parents of three of the teens and a defense attorney had no comment on the charges before the suspects were arraigned.
