The United States is seeing its first cases of malaria contracted in the country in two decades.

The CDC has issued a warning to doctors and health officials.

The agency says four cases turned up in Florida, and one in Texas.

The CDC says Americans usually contract malaria while traveling overseas -- so this small outbreak is unusual.
