Obesity is becoming more common across a number of states in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Researchers found that in 22-states, at least 35% of adults were considered obese in 2022. That's up from 19 states in 2021.
The research also found notable differences based on race and ethnicity.
Black, American Indian, and Hispanic adults had significantly higher rates of obesity than white and Asian adults.
