An apparent road rage altercation was recorded Saturday on Walt Whitman Road in Melville.

Footage submitted by a News 12 viewer appears to show three people exiting their car and striking the vehicle behind them.

A photograph of the vehicle also shows the windshield heavily cracked and shattered.

It is unclear if anyone was injured. Police say an investigation is ongoing.
