A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of vandals who defaced a Catholic shrine in Manorville.
Letters and symbols were spray-painted on the walls, benches and walkways at Our Lady of the Island sometime between Aug. 9 and 10, according to police.
This is not the first time the site has been targeted by vandals. As News 12 has reported, a life-sized statue of Jesus Christ was smashed in March of last year.
News 12 is told that $13,000 was raised to replace the broken statue.
The authorities are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
