The FDNY says the incident happened around 10:50 a.m. on Friday at 4817 Church Ave.
Police say a 78-year-old man was driving with a 74-year-old passenger when he made a U-turn, jumped the curb and collided into what they say is an abandoned storefront. They say he also hit a 48-year-old woman walking on the sidewalk.
Police say the 48-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
They say the driver and passenger were uninjured.
