A Wyandanch man is facing a number of charges after he crashed into a pole in West Babylon.
Suffolk police say Christopher Dockery crashed his 2018 Hyundai into a pole on Little East Neck Road and Vermont Avenue just after 8 p.m. on Saturday.
He refused to get out of his vehicle and when a police officer attempted to turn it off, he pushed the officer, who then tased him.
Dockery then drove off and headed northbound into oncoming traffic where he then crashed head on into a police vehicle, according to police.
Police say they arrested the 60-year-old minutes later on Straight Path and Essex Street. He is being arraigned on Sunday and is currently charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene with property damage, obstructing governmental administration and reckless endangerment.
