Police are looking for a man who pretended to be an employee at a Suffolk County Walmart.
The incident happened around 12 p.m. on May 23 at the store located at 1890 Old Country Road in Riverhead.
The man posed as a worker and scammed a customer out of $900, according to the Riverhead Town Police Department.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
All calls remain anonymous.
