A car crashed through the front of a 7-Eleven convenience store on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown Wednesday around 12:30 p.m.
Police say the crash happened when an 86-year-old driver accidently hit the gas instead of the brakes.
They say one person sustained minor injuries in Wednesday's crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The crash comes one day after a 14-year-old girl was hit by an SUV around the corner.
Tuesday’s crash happened outside Division Avenue High School. The student was airlifted to the hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
