The hot races to watch out for are the battle between Democrat Madeline Singas and Republican Kate Murray for Nassau County District Attorney.
The latest poll has the two in a dead heat.
In Suffolk, voters must choose between incumbent Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Republican challenger James O'Connor.
