The Calhoun High School varsity baseball team advanced to the county championship in dramatic fashion.

They were down to their final out and trailed by three runs when Joey Goodman delivered a walk-off grand slam.

Calhoun defeated Mepham High School 6-5 in the Nassau Class A Baseball Semifinals.
