A Wyandanch school was grilled by parents who say their children were not dropped off at their regular bus stops Tuesday afternoon.
Parents told News 12 they rushed over to LaFrancis Hardiman Elementary School on Mount Avenue looking for their children and wanting to know why they were not dropped off at their regular bus stops. They say the school did not provide them with the answers they were looking for.
A letter was posted on the Wyandanch School District's homepage informing parents that new bus routes would go into effect on Oct. 14. It was not clear when the letter, dated Oct. 3, was posted.
One parent told News 12 that her family did not receive the letter.
News 12 reached out to the school district's superintendent and principal but received no reply.
