A worker at the Long Beach city bus depot is accused of selling heroin while on the job.
Long Beach Police Commissioner Michael Tangney says customers would approach Chelsea Lindsey while she was at her part-time job as a clerk.
Police say they set up surveillance cameras after receiving a tip that Lindsey, 22, was selling the drug from her office. Investigators say they witnessed her selling heroin once in March and twice in June.
Lindsey is being held on $20,000 bail.
Residents in Long Beach say the heroin epidemic has hit the area hard. Police told News 12 they will continue to aggressively pursue heroin dealers in the community.
