Surfs up! Want your kids to hang 10 this summer? News 12's Erin Colton was in Gilgo Beach today learning how to surf at Bunger Surf Camp.

According to Bunger Surf Shop owner Charlie Bunger, no experience is necessary to attend surf camp. He says the camp is perfect for 8 to 16- and 17-year-olds.

A typical morning at camp will start off on the beach with safety instructions and then head to the water. The most important tip? Instructor Sean Smith says always face the waves and secure your board.

Bunger Surf Camp is every week starting at the end of June through the end of August. The shop offers either three-day or two-day a week sessions.
