Brooklyn teacher arrested for allegedly hitting student in face
A Brooklyn teacher has been arrested for allegedly hitting a 10-year-old student in the face. According to police, Jerome Skrine who teaches at P.S./I.S. 109 in East Flatbush turned himself in to the Brooklyn Child Abuse Squad Monday. The school has about 700 students in grades kindergarten through seventh grade, including special education students. Skrine, 48, has been charged with assault.
