The Bronx Museum of the Arts opened its "Bronx Calling: Sixth AIM Biennial" exhibit on Friday.
Part one of the biennial highlights the work of 27 artists whose work explores issues surrounding race, gender, class, sexual orientation and ethnicity. It highlights the impact of colonial histories on personal and collective experiences.
The show will be on display until March 31.
News 12’s Brittany Cadet visited and spoke to artists about their work.
