Only one Bronx hotel will be featured in an upcoming edition of an AAA guide, leaving out hundreds of hotels and restaurants throughout the borough. The lone hotel mentioned in the guide was the Howard Johnson Inn, just north of Yankee Stadium, which features a Yankees-themed lobby and dining room. One hotel in the borough that was not included in the guide was Le Refuge Inn on City Island. No restaurants were included.A representative from AAA said that the first step to get into the AAA guide is to file a request. He suggested that a reason for the lack of Bronx recommendations was due to the lack of requests on behalf of restaurant and hotel owners. A representative of Le Refuge Inn told News12 The Bronx that they did not request to be in the guide.
