A broken elevator inside Bridgeport's Clinton Commons has left some disabled residents without a lift for a week.
Residents say the broken elevator is the only automated way up-and-down the four-story building.
Tenant Kimberly Cooper, 53, has multiple sclerosis and makes regular visits to Griffin Hospital in Derby to get chemotherapy, which suppresses the symptoms of her illness so she can live a more independent life.
The broken elevator has been down for a week, and leaving Cooper unable to get medical care, groceries, and other essentials.
News 12 reached out to the complex and is waiting to hear back.
