Several boaters are claiming the FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach damaged their boats.

The owners showed News 12 specs of red dye that stained their vessels during the show, which was held during Fourth of July weekend, and say it won't come off.

One boater estimates it caused roughly $13,000 worth of damage.

"One of the planes had burgundy smoke coming out of it, which is exactly the color of the stains all over the interior of my boat,” said Joel Fromkin of Bellmore.

“Quite honestly, hundreds of boat people just complaining on Facebook left and right about it," Fromkin continued.

News 12 has reached out to the NYS Parks Department and FourLeaf for comment and are waiting to hear back.
